Job Title: Engineering Internship (Summer 2024)
Department: Operations
Summary: Diamondback is an independent oil and natural gas company headquartered in Midland, Texas focused on the acquisition, development, exploration, and exploitation of unconventional, onshore oil and natural gas reserves in the Permian Basin in West Texas. Diamondback's activities are primarily focused on the horizontal exploitation of multiple intervals within the Wolfcamp, Spraberry, Clearfork, Bone Spring, and Cline formations.
Internship Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Manager and Mentor, the Engineering Intern is responsible for the completion of project work supporting facilities, production, drilling, completions, or reservoir engineering and operations.
The key responsibilities of the Engineering Intern include:
Working on projects directly impacting the results achieved in the department assigned.
Works directly with other engineers and other disciplines to experience what working in an Exploration and Production company is like.
Develop engineering skills under the supervision and guidance of an assigned and experienced mentor.
At project completion, the intern will demonstrate their procedure and results in a culminating presentation in front of Diamondback upper management (CEO, COO, EVP, SVP, and VP).
Throughout the internship, there will be opportunities for on-site field visits to learn about field operations (active drilling rig and active completions spread).
Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to participate in Diamondback philanthropic endeavors that help the immediate community of Midland-Odessa.
Finally, the intern will be able to learn from and work with some of the finest O&G professionals in the industry on a daily basis.

Required Qualifications:
Pursuing a BS or higher in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
Must be willing to work in Midland TX, for the duration of the internship
Preferred Qualifications:
GPA of 3.20 or higher is preferred
Extracurricular achievements or prior work experience is desirable

Job Title: Associate I Fleet Department: Procurement Summary: The Fleet Associate I will be responsible for providing support to our company's procurement team and fleet of vehicles. The successful candidate will perform routine inspections, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and support vehicle safety and regulation compliance activities.
