The program is seeking a self-motivated, productive, results-oriented student in an Engineering or Physical Science program to directly support scientists and engineers perform characterization of space systems including detailed payload characterization through open source research, assist in assessment activities, and enhance assessment tools. Practical experience with optics or antennae and software experience such as Matlab, Labview, C++, and/or Visual Basic are a plus, but not requisite.
Essential Functions
The duties will include:
Individual will be directly mentored on satellite research and assessment performed under close supervision until adequate capability to complete is demonstrated, at which point the individual will lead these specific aspects of the day-to-day operation of research collection.
Individual shall be detail oriented and able to summarize technical information.
Individual shall operate a windows computer and perform open source research leveraging search engines and public databases.

You're required to have this
Required Education and Experience
Rising Jr. or Sr. and currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in relevant Science (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials, etc.) from an accredited four-year university.
Good organizational skills and ability to work independently, seeking support from team members when required
