Job Overview
Techs Engineering is offering a summer internship opportunity for college students interested in engineering. As an Engineering Intern, you will be part of Diamondback, an independent oil and natural gas company focused on unconventional reserves in the Permian Basin. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you will work on projects impacting facilities, production, drilling, completions, or reservoir engineering and operations. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn from industry professionals.
Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation package for our Engineering Internship positions.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects directly impacting assigned department's results
- Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to understand the Exploration and Production industry
- Develop engineering skills under the guidance of an experienced mentor
- Present project procedures and results to upper management
- Participate in on-site field visits to gain insights into field operations
- Contribute to Diamondback's philanthropic endeavors in the Midland-Odessa community
- Learn and collaborate with industry professionals on a daily basis
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS or higher in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
- Willingness to work in Midland, TX, for the duration of the internship
