Job Overview

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, a family-owned, privately held company, is North America's leading wine and spirits distributor. We are seeking interns to join our Summer Internship Program. This hands-on program is designed to develop the next generation of Sales, Trade Development, Operations, Technology, and Corporate leaders. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in career-building activities and learn industry-leading practices. Join us to explore the adult beverage industry and build a network of professionals within the field.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Hourly pay range: $15 - $18 / hour plus incentives
  • Final offer will be based on education, skills, and experience

Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales Divisions and support various teams, including Category Management, Distribution Warehouse Sales, Point of Sales, Chain Merchandising Divisions, and Graphics
  • Participate in training, meetings, and learning opportunities
  • Assist with set up, tear down, and support special events and tastings
  • Conduct On-Premise Surveys
  • Support team with additional projects and assignments

Requirements

  • Must be a Junior in college, graduating the following year with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in majors such as Business, Sales, Marketing, Communication, Retail, or Category Management
  • Must reside in the vicinity of the internship or have the ability to obtain housing
  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the start of the internship
  • Must be able to secure and maintain a valid driver's license and auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws
  • Physical requirements: sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer, occasional walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping, occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 40lbs
