Job Overview
This is a paid internship experience with the Office of Management and Budget in the Finance Department at Metro Nashville.
Compensation
- Salary: $15.00 Hourly
Responsibilities
- Research best practices and complete proposals for Metro.
- Conduct on-site visits with analysts for exposure to analyst role & Metro Government.
- Attend staff & departmental meetings with budget analysts.
- Engage with other divisions of the Finance Department.
- Assist with revenue manual and annual budget book.
- Review current literature and research topics.
- Conduct data analysis and assist team members with assigned tasks.
- Assist with administrative needs.
- Assist with office relocation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: High school diploma, with interest in a career in public finance or related discipline. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- License Required: None
- Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.
