The Hayward Unified School District (HUSD) is seeking an Assistant Principal for Hayward High School. As an Assistant Principal, you will play a vital role in creating engaging and equitable educational experiences for our diverse student population. You will contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes anti-racism, cultural competence, and growth mindset. Responsibilities
As an Assistant Principal at Hayward High School, your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the administrative team to support the implementation and evaluation of educational programs
- Assisting in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
- Supervising and evaluating staff members
- Maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment for students and staff
- Building strong relationships with students, families, and the wider community
- Supporting student discipline and enforcing the school's code of conduct
- Assisting in the management of school events, programs, and initiatives
Requirements
To be considered for the Assistant Principal position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a valid California Administrative Services Credential or be intern eligible for the credential
- Master's Degree is desirable
- Must submit a fully completed application, including:
- 3 letters of recommendation

- a letter of introduction
- copies of credentials
