Job Overview

PATH is seeking a Communications and Media Support Intern to join our Epidemic Preparedness and Response (EPR) team. As a global nonprofit organization dedicated to achieving health equity, PATH works on innovative solutions to the world's most pressing health challenges. In this role, you will provide technical support to a key USAID funded project in Ukraine, contributing to the team's communication efforts.

Compensation

This is a part-time internship, expected to be 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage communication materials for the Ukraine project
  • Support content development for the project's social media channels
  • Review and update project information on PATH's EPR Point
  • Assist with internal and external communications for the EPR team
  • Contribute to writing articles and success stories
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across communication materials
  • Participate in regular project calls with country offices

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's degree program in communication, journalism, or a related field
  • Excellent oral communication, writing, and editing skills in English
  • Fluency in Ukrainian (both verbal and written) is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote)
  • Knowledge of design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
  • Experience using social media to support communication goals
  • Interest in global health, international development, and project management
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
