Job Overview
The Cannabis Science and Operations Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree equips graduates with necessary skills to gain employment in the emerging cannabis field. It combines a mix of core chemistry and biology curriculum with applied cannabis-related courses.

- Teach specific lecture and/or laboratory courses
- Oversee internship assignments at internship sites
Requirements
- Education: A Master's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive professional experience or education in one or more of the Program's instructional areas including cannabis science, chemistry, microbiology, chemical analysis of medicinal plants, microbiological analysis of medicinal plants, and more. Teaching or training experience in the cannabis field is preferred.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people from varied backgrounds and situations, and is sensitive to individual differences.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the curriculum competencies and skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: A Doctoral degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.
