Job Overview
Littelfuse, one of America's Best Mid-Sized Companies (Forbes), is seeking a Corporate Finance Intern to join their team in Chicago. In this role, you will gain practical, hands-on experience in Corporate Accounting and Finance.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation based on experience
Responsibilities
- Consolidate actual financials with analysis of results.
- Assist with forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other areas.
- Prepare general month-end close journal entries.
- Assist in reconciliation of internal accounts, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and reviewing trends of each account.
- Prepare monthly reporting.
- Provide financial analysis on special projects.
Requirements
- Pursuing Bachelor or university degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Preferred degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid technical and financial knowledge
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills with familiarity in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
- Knowledge in MS Office
