Job Overview
Child Guidance Resource Centers is seeking a School Based Mental Health Outpatient Therapist to join our team. As part of our Outpatient Therapy Services, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy, as well as assessments and medication services to children and adolescents. This is a part-time position based in Pottstown, PA.
Compensation
Competitive salary based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate client and family dynamics, diagnose conditions, and make treatment recommendations.
- Provide therapy services to promote exploration and understanding of personal and interpersonal dynamics.
- Develop effective treatment goals with measurable objectives.
- Facilitate agreement on therapy goals and tasks, defining the role of each participant.
- Consult with other professionals involved in the child's treatment.
- Provide information and referral services to ensure clients receive appropriate resources.
- Track progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Meet program expectations for productivity.
- Handle administrative duties, including documentation and billing.
- Complete required training and supervision.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, nursing, rehabilitative or activity therapy, or related behavioral health field.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
