Job Overview
The Intern provides support for Clinical Advancement and Patient Safety. As an intern, you will work with Mortality and Outcomes case reviews and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization. You will be responsible for managing data and information, preparing reports and project summaries, and participating in staff and committee meetings. Additionally, you will complete a project designed to benefit the healthcare system and utilize technical abilities to support project and/or operational tasks.

- Provide support for Clinical Advancement and Patient Safety
- Work with Mortality and Outcomes case reviews
- Interact with individuals at all levels of the organization as necessary
- Manage data and information
- Prepare reports and project summaries
- Serve and participate on work teams as assigned
- Actively participate in staff and committee meetings as assigned
- Complete a project designed to benefit the healthcare system
- Utilize technical abilities with respective software to support project and/or operational tasks
- Proactively seek out duties and responsibilities and appropriately prioritize assignments
- Meet with Manager/Mentor regularly to discuss completed items, projects in progress, and potential projects
Requirements
- Education: Typically a junior-senior level undergraduate student or student in a Master's degree program
