WorldStrides, a global experiential learning and travel company, is seeking an intern for its professional internship program. This engaging and meaningful internship offers exposure and direct experience within an assigned WorldStrides' functional area and/or business unit. Education and personal growth are at the heart of WorldStrides' mission, making this program an excellent opportunity for aspiring professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the overall concept of WorldStrides including the brand, customer, and all other aspects of service
  • Accept designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions
  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer and internal processes
  • Proficient on internal software systems
  • Create and analyze performance reports
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders across the business to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects
  • Support company policies and management decisions with a sense of urgency and professionalism
  • Seek out and participate in internal/external programs for personal and professional growth
  • Foster communication within and outside the department and stakeholders
  • Responsible for daily branded procurement flow
  • Responsible for linking processes together
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing data
  • Responsible for creating and analyzing reports
  • Responsible for creating the first draft of documents and reviewing the final draft
  • Responsible for creating policies, procedures, trainings, and SOPs based on instructions given
  • Submit required academic forms necessary to support educational requirements within required timeframes (if applicable)
  • Be available to work remotely an average of 35-40 hours per work week

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a college or university taking at least one class in the prior semester/quarter or graduated within the past six months
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Minimum one year of demonstrated leadership experience
  • Passion for delivering outstanding service experience
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong written and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with technology
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to contribute to WorldStrides' culture of sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • Favorable criminal background check required
