Job Overview
As a paid Summer Intern at BNSF, one of the largest U.S. railroads, you will have the opportunity to experience what it's like to be a full-time employee and contribute to the movement of essential products and materials. You will be given impactful assignments that combine classroom experience with real-life business situations. This program is designed to identify students who will be hired as full-time Management Trainees after graduation.
Compensation
- Anticipated Start Date: 5/29/2024
- Number of Positions: 2
- Salary Range: $4,125 per month
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing projects and job shadow Labor Relations officers
- Develop industry knowledge by researching agreements and arbitration decisions
- Collaborate with Labor Relations officers to resolve labor disputes through grievance procedures
- Provide support for labor claims conferences and assist in local labor agreement negotiations
- Build relationships with internal customers in Operations and rail union leaders
- Seek opportunities to further employee engagement
