Job Overview
Evernorth Health Services is hiring summer interns for its Analytics Leadership Development Program (ALDP). This program is designed to develop future analytics and data science leaders who will use advanced technical skills, business acumen, communication, and leadership to solve healthcare's biggest challenges through the use of data.

Responsibilities
Throughout the internship, you will:
- Be assigned a real business problem to solve that challenges your analytical and technical skills while helping you build industry knowledge.
- Make direct contributions to our mission and company goals.
- Build relationships with cross-functional partners, peers, and other analytics and data science experts across the company.
- Attend leader speaker series sessions and presentations given by members of Evernorth Health Services.
Requirements
- Currently working towards a Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as data science, statistics, business analytics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated coursework or real-world application of analytical methods, including writing code (e.g. Python, R, SAS), developing models (e.g. regression, decision tree, or other machine learning techniques), and evaluating outcomes using statistical techniques (e.g. matched case-control studies, A/B testing).
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong motivation to apply quantitative reasoning to real-world business challenges.
