Job Overview

Lowe's 2024 Summer Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity for MBA students to gain hands-on experience in the finance field with a leading FORTUNE 50 company. As an intern, you will have the chance to develop your financial acumen, enhance your skills, and make a meaningful impact on our team.

Responsibilities

During your internship, you will:

  • Work on a project-based assignment that contributes to your overall learning and development.
  • Gain exposure to various finance areas, including Store Operations, Merchandise Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Tech & Online Finance, Shared Services Finance, Financial & Credit Services, and Corporate FP&A.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support key financial activities and decision-making processes.

Requirements

To qualify for this internship, you must have:

  • Currently pursuing an MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Economics, or a related field from an accredited university, with expected graduation dates of December 2024 or May 2025.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and other analytics programs or systems.
  • Strong collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, financial modeling, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated financial and business acumen.
  • Relevant exposure or experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Corporate Accounting (preferred).
  • Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus (preferred).
