Job Overview
As a Data & Analytics Intern at Salesforce, you will have the opportunity to work on real projects that directly impact our business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into metrics and models. Your work will contribute to the development of AI-powered features and machine learning models, as well as the cleaning and transformation of data. Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners, data architects, and other teams to translate business requirements into critical metrics and models
- Contribute to the research, design, and construction of AI-powered features
- Develop machine learning models for ongoing projects
- Clean, transform, and load data for analysis
- Support the ML lifecycle management infrastructure
- Participate in architecture and code reviews
- Identify and promote best practices
- Present actionable insights from data to stakeholders
Requirements
- Enrolled and working towards a BS or MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field
- Must be attending a College/University in the U.S.
- Deep knowledge in one or more of machine learning / deep learning / personalization / NLP / Language Models / ranking
- Experience in building and prototyping machine learning models and algorithms
- Proficiency in Python and related libraries (numpy, scikit-learn, tensorflow, pytorch, keras, huggingface)
- Proficiency in shell scripting, SQL, and Unix/Linux command-line tools
- Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with big data analytics tools and distributed systems (Apache Spark, Flink, Kafka)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Redshift, S3, Lambda, EC2)
