Job Overview
DuCharme McMillen & Associates Inc is seeking an Accounting Intern to provide general support to the department. As an employee-owned company, we prioritize the development and well-being of our employees. Join our team and gain valuable experience in a modern, laid-back office environment.
Compensation

Responsibilities
- Assist with research and review of jurisdictional tax notices and tax bills for assigned clients.
- Aid in tax bill processing, funding request processing, and payment.
- Conduct property tax data analysis and assist with return preparation for assigned clients.
- Respond to client and jurisdictional inquiries.
- Support client document management, including scanning and uploading to client website.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle high volume work accurately and within tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to tax compliance software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
