Job Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering students to join our St. Petersburg office. This is a non-remote position.
Compensation
We offer competitive compensation for this internship position.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients
- Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for various projects
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards
- Learn software programs specific to your discipline, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
Requirements
- In the process of receiving an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in one of the following majors:
- Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
- Engineering Technology
