Job Overview

Delta Air Lines is seeking IT Information Security interns to join their team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various security domains, including Identity Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security Automation, and Security Operations. You will be involved in IT projects, such as gathering requirements, designing and testing security solutions, and creating automation solutions. This internship is a chance to contribute to Delta's mission of making technology a competitive advantage while gaining valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Work on various security domains, including Identity Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security Automation, and Security Operations
• Support IT projects by gathering requirements, designing and testing security solutions, and creating automation solutions
• Collaborate with different teams and contribute to the enhancement and support of security solutions
• Participate in non-technical responsibilities related to development, process, and compliance roles
• Learn and gain maturity across the security domains

Requirements

• Commit to working the entire 13-week summer internship program (May 13 - August 9, 2024)
• Work from the Atlanta or MSP office with a partially onsite/partially remote (hybrid) work schedule, with management approval
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have completed at least 2 years in a college program, with a degree emphasis in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field
• Possess strong analytical, leadership, written and verbal communication skills, and a good work ethic
• Accept diverse people, thinking, and consistently prioritize safety and security
• Have an interest in solving complex problems and a willingness to invest time and energy to overcome roadblocks
• Possess awareness of cloud technology, Software Dev Lifecycles, and/or PC hardware components and/or maintenance
• Conduct oneself in a mature manner and be comfortable working in a business casual work attire environment
• Have an interest in working for Delta Air Lines after graduation if presented with a full-time job offer opportunity
