Job Overview
Magellan is seeking top talent for their Business Finance and Accounting Internships. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain professional experience in entry-level positions in areas such as Accounting, Audit, Commercial Marketing and Business Development, or Commercial Transportation and Logistics. This internship offers real projects, tasks, and responsibilities, as well as facility tours, "Lunch & Learn" sessions with senior leaders, and an immersive company culture.

Responsibilities
- Audit: Identify and evaluate internal controls, prepare and review Sarbanes-Oxley business process control designs, and conduct compliance reviews at field locations.
- Accounting: Perform Sarbanes-Oxley testing and account reconciliation for general accounting. Invoice customers, participate in ad hoc projects, and analyze and interpret information for management decision-making.
- Commercial Marketing and Business Development: Assist project managers in expansion and growth projects, new business opportunities, and all phases of the project life cycle. Analyze business performance and market trends.
- Commercial Transportation & Logistics: Assist the logistics coordinator for pipeline scheduling. Provide customer support, analyze business performance, and identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.
Requirements
- Currently seeking a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Prefer students who have completed their sophomore coursework by the start of the internship.
- Cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher.
- No more than three years of professional work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership roles in philanthropic, civic, or other organizations.
