Job Overview

  • The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is looking for talented leaders to join their Global Technology Co-op/Intern Program.
  • This program offers practical work experience in various areas of Global Technology, allowing students to gain a better understanding of job opportunities at Goodyear.
  • You will have the opportunity to be a part of the Innovation Technology team, supporting the development of technology and solutions for intelligent tires.
  • In this position, you will work with the Goodyear development team and/or external partners to design, build prototypes, and test sensors and vehicle systems.
  • The assignment may involve working with real-world fleet environments and/or Goodyear testing facilities.
  • This is a unique opportunity to get exposed to an end-to-end IoT solution in the fleet industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of technology and solutions for intelligent tires
  • Collaborate with the Goodyear development team and/or external partners
  • Design, build prototypes, and test sensors and vehicle systems
  • Work with real-world fleet environments and/or Goodyear testing facilities

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant area
  • Minimum 3.0 overall GPA required
  • Incoming Junior level preferred
  • Prior engineering co-op/internship experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills
  • Basic understanding of wireless sensor technology
  • Familiarity with IoT hardware (sensors and gateways)
  • Testing and validation experience in electronics system preferred
