Job Overview

Champions Sports Center is a rapidly growing sports center in Brooklyn, offering Karate, Martial Arts, Dodgeball, Yoga, and Tennis Programs for both children and adults. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive first impression for our members and guests.

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly wage: $18-$25
  • Performance-based annual bonuses ($1,000) upon year completion

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting members and guests, assisting students/parents, handling phone inquiries, and registering memberships
  • Provide exemplary customer service, ensuring a positive experience for parents, students, and newcomers
  • Utilize our Database System to manage member information
  • Effectively send and manage emails, and demonstrate strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Aim to retain and increase student enrollment across all programs
  • Report center issues to the Director and provide necessary feedback
  • Ensure accurate balance of all cash, check, and credit card payments processed during the shift
  • Comply with all staff policies in accordance with our Center's Amenity Management

Requirements

  • Proficiency in both English and Russian is a must
  • Availability to work on some weekdays (Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-8:30 PM) and Saturdays or Sundays (11:30 AM-7:30 PM), with flexibility for discussion
  • Minimum of one year in customer service or front desk roles
  • Minimum Associate degree or higher
