Compensation

  • Minimum annual salary: $110,000
  • Maximum annual salary: $110,000 (pro-rated for summer program)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial models, company marketing materials, and client presentations
  • Manage investors throughout the capital raise process, including facilitating their diligence
  • Perform research and various analyses in support of thematic publications and new business generation
  • Gain an expert understanding of credit quality drivers, equity valuation, credit agreements, investment documentation, market dynamics, and the landscape of debt and equity investors
  • Develop skills through broad exposure to clients, investors, and Baird bankers
  • Work closely with senior bankers and support the execution of Secondary Advisory transactions for key financial sponsor relationships
  • Conduct research, help construct complex financial models, assist in the preparation of client presentations, and gain exposure to live transaction activity
  • Learn analytical skills through broad exposure to both junior and senior bankers that will prepare you for a full-time career in Investment Banking

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with a strong interest in finance
  • Graduation date of December 2024 or Spring 2025 is required
  • Full-time minimum 10-week commitment during the summer is required
  • Accounting, Business, Economics, and Finance concentrations are preferred but not mandatory
  • Eager and able to learn in a challenging environment
  • Strong work ethic and a record for excellence
  • Ability to function equally well in both a team setting and on a self-directed basis
  • Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal, and computer skills
  • Significant hours are required
