Job Overview
The Financial Planning & Modelling Intern will play a vital role in supporting the Financial Planning & Modelling team at RWE Clean Energy, LLC. This internship is a 12-week full-time opportunity based in the Austin, Texas office.
Compensation
- Internship duration: 12 weeks
- Full-time position
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Wind, Solar & Storage sites to create accurate CAPEX, OPEX & Production budgets and forecasts
- Utilize operational insights & data to contribute to estimates for potential new build projects and ventures
- Contribute to the development of effective solutions by assisting in the creation of business cases
- Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and provide insights to support management decisions
- Support the analysis of major component failures, reliability, and overall asset health
- Participate in exploring opportunities for improvements in production, availability, cost, safety, and organizational culture
Requirements
- Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited Degree program in either finance, accounting, business analytics, or engineering
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with various project teams
- Demonstrated experience in building and working with financial models, strong understanding of financial statements a plus
- Familiarity with tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, or similar for financial analysis a plus
