Job Overview

Legacy Community Health, a premium, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to provide support in ensuring regulatory alignment and quality oversight through routine data analysis. The intern will be responsible for generating reports, conducting specialized analyses, maintaining data repositories, and documenting analytical findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine data collection and prepare reports for Pharmacy Services, including specialty accreditation programs and financial programs such as the Ryan White grant.
• Ensure understanding of regulatory requirements and provide support through data collection.
• Review and monitor prescription and pharmacy inventory to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop recommendations for data analytics to understand outcomes and utilization of funds.
• Participate in special projects requiring data analytics.
• Identify methods for education and communication related to data collection.
• Coordinate the presentation of data monthly to the Pharmacy QI Management Committee.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements to modify metrics and data reporting.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure program accuracy.
• Track, trend, and report 340b pharmaceutical sales and purchases data.
• Perform quarterly review of the 340b list and provide recommendations.
• Provide oversight for process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Previous experience with heavy data entry and analysis in Excel strongly preferred.
• Previous experience working with reports and conducting data analysis.
• Independent judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
