Job Overview

  • Discovery Early College High School is seeking student interns for the Bits and Bytes Summer Internship 2022. This internship is ideal for students interested in learning and working in an Information Technology (IT) support environment and enjoy solving IT support issues. Student interns will work closely with school staff under constant supervision, with no unmonitored time with other minors.

  • Pay close attention to the user's description of their computer problem and ask questions to identify the problem and determine how to solve it
  • Train users on how to use new hardware or software
  • Diagnose and resolve laptop and desktop issues
  • Document issues and resolutions correctly
  • Troubleshoot network problems and individual user hardware or software problems
  • Set up or repair computer hardware and other associated devices such as printers and scanners
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
