Child and Family Focus Outpatient Internship

#Internship Overview:

Child and Family Focus is looking for interns for our Outpatient Program for Fall 2023 and Winter/Spring 2024! CFF is a non-profit mental health agency serving children and youth primarily in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania. We provide and advocate for family and community-based settings that allow for the family and child(ren) to have a voice for children's optimum growth and positive change. We will partner with your university in order to provide credit hours for any internship or practicum requirements.

This internship is responsible for providing clinical care in an Outpatient setting. She/he/they will utilize assessment tools to identify areas for interventions and partner with program staff and family members to support individuals in a manner that is conducive to all aspects of wellness. This position requires in-office work in our Hatboro office, with the potential to meet with clients via telehealth.

#Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Currently enrolled in a Master's level program at an accredited university seeking practicum, internship, or field placement in a Human Services field
  • Major in Human Services, Public Health, Psychology, Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling or a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Teams and other virtual tools
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check, Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Criminal Background Check completed through the Department of Human Services

#Requirements

  • Services are a mixture of in-person and remote via online platforms such as Zoom and Teams
  • Varied, flexible schedule for students based on your availability and number of hours needed for your program. Evening hours and weekend hours may be available based on program needs.
  • Local travel to our Hatboro clinic location
