Job Overview

Houlihan Lokey's Transaction Advisory Services group is seeking a Summer Financial Analyst (Class of 2025) to join our Financial and Accounting Due Diligence team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on live transactions across various industries, providing exposure to the broader corporate finance and capital markets industries. This internship will run from June to August 2024.

Compensation

Salary Range: $70,000.00-$115,000.00

Responsibilities

  • Participate in buy-side and sell-side M&A due diligence engagements
  • Analyze company financial information and other data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, potential liabilities, and risks influencing valuation and negotiation
  • Support group strategy, marketing, and client development efforts

Requirements

  • Accounting majors - Masters or Bachelors of Accountancy (or dual accounting and finance majors) with a graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025
  • Coursework in accounting and finance, must be eligible for CPA licensure upon graduation
  • Strong analytical abilities and financial and computer skills (Excel / PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and be a team player
  • Basic knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
