Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the design, assembly, testing, and analysis of precision positioning systems
  • Performing mechanical design and documentation of parts and assemblies
  • Characterizing error motions in positioning systems
  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to identify and fix manufacturing process issues
  • Collecting, analyzing, and presenting data using various software tools
  • Practicing project management techniques to track progress and report results

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with 3D solid modeling preferred
  • Experience with a technical programming language preferred (e.g., Matlab, Python)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
