Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design, assembly, testing, and analysis of precision positioning systems
- Performing mechanical design and documentation of parts and assemblies
- Characterizing error motions in positioning systems
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to identify and fix manufacturing process issues
- Collecting, analyzing, and presenting data using various software tools
- Practicing project management techniques to track progress and report results
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with 3D solid modeling preferred
- Experience with a technical programming language preferred (e.g., Matlab, Python)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
