Job Overview

• First Supply offers an exciting opportunity for High School Juniors and Seniors interested in learning more about distribution operations, supply chain, and/or kitchen & bath design.
• Gain knowledge and training in key areas of First Supply, with opportunities to shadow leaders throughout the business.
• Develop new ideas and tools to enhance business operations and support professional growth.
• Partnership with the apprentice's school and coincides with the academic calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse and Logistics:

  • Fill orders accurately.
  • Package, ship and receive orders accurately.
  • Determine the status of an order at any given time.
  • Load trucks to ensure no product is damaged in shipment.
  • Efficiently put away incoming shipments.
  • Clearly identify and/or label all products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, following safety procedures.

• Kitchen, Bath & Lighting:

  • Provide outstanding customer service in a customer-friendly and professional environment.
  • Maintain a well-organized and aesthetically pleasing environment.
  • Learn the sales process to ensure timely completion of all sales.
  • Develop sales skills and product knowledge.

• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• High School Junior or Senior.
• Strong interest in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Kitchen & Bath Design.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to read, speak, understand, and write English.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
