Job Overview
Yext is seeking Software Engineers to join our Engineering team for a summer internship. As an intern, you will be matched with a team, manager, and mentor to contribute to the development of our revolutionary product. You'll have the opportunity to engage with our team, expand your network, and participate in activities throughout your internship.
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $50/hour. Yext offers a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
Responsibilities
- Participate in full life-cycle software development
- Design, implement, and deploy highly-distributed and scalable systems
- Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
- Write clean, tested, and well-documented code
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, graduating between December 2024 and August 2025
- Excellent implementation skills in an OOP language (e.g., Java, Go)
- Fast learner who quickly picks up new technologies
- Ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment
