Job Overview

Options For Youth Public Charter Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Science Teacher to join our team.
Our network of free public charter schools provides students with a flexible and personalized approach to learning.
As a Science Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering students' personal, emotional, and academic well-being.

Compensation

Salary Range: $68,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities

Deliver data-driven, results-based instruction aligned with the Common Core Standards.
Provide direct instruction to students for six hours a day.
Teach and plan differentiated curriculum to ensure student success.
Utilize assessments and data to inform instruction.
Support special education students and English Language Learners with targeted interventions.
Attend professional meetings, conferences, and workshops.
Collaborate with students and parents to address progress and challenges.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
CA Preliminary or Clear single subject teaching credential in Science with English Language Authorization (ELA)
