Job Overview

  • Options For Youth Public Charter Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Science Teacher to join our team.
  • Our network of free public charter schools provides students with a flexible and personalized approach to learning.
  • As a Science Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering students' personal, emotional, and academic well-being.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $68,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Deliver data-driven, results-based instruction aligned with the Common Core Standards.
  • Provide direct instruction to students for six hours a day.
  • Teach and plan differentiated curriculum to ensure student success.
  • Utilize assessments and data to inform instruction.
  • Support special education students and English Language Learners with targeted interventions.
  • Attend professional meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with students and parents to address progress and challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CA Preliminary or Clear single subject teaching credential in Science with English Language Authorization (ELA)
