Job Overview

As a Graphic Design Intern in the Northeast Community College marketing office, you will be an integral part of the marketing team, collaborating closely with all marketing department staff. Your responsibilities will include designing print and digital marketing materials. We are seeking an individual who enjoys teamwork, welcomes constructive feedback, and demonstrates organization and punctuality. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced office with a variety of partners. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is required.


  • Wage is $13.50 per hour
  • No fringe benefits


During this internship, you will:

  • Take the lead on a design project under the direction of the Creative Manager. This project will be a valuable addition to your professional portfolio.
  • Update and revise existing design materials, inclusive of marketing collateral, print advertisements, digital ads, banners, signage, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with the entire marketing team, working alongside the Creative Manager.
  • Maintain brand standards and adhere to the brand voice.
  • Tag and organize photography assets, including sourcing stock images when necessary. There may be an opportunity to assist with photo editing.
  • Manage and archive files, ensuring regular job file backups.
  • Utilize a professional project management system.


  • Education:
    • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience:
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
