Job Overview
- Seeking an undergraduate student for a summer internship in our Electromagnetic Compatibility Lab at Philips Andover Standards and Reliability Center (ASRC)
- Gain hands-on experience in a HealthTech company
- Assist EMC Engineering staff in day-to-day tasks, projects, and improvements related to EMC testing and qualification of medical devices
Compensation
Hourly pay range: $25.00-46.00 (overtime eligible)
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up equipment for EMC testing
- Execute environmental and humidity testing for medical devices
- Conduct emissions testing of medical devices
- Perform immunity tests for medical devices
- Assist in preventive maintenance and repairs of lab test equipment
- Review test plans and reports for compliance with Good Documentation Practices
- Maintain a summary of accomplishments during the internship period
- Present a summary of accomplishments to the ASRC team at the end of the period
Requirements
- Full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 or higher
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2023
- Detail-oriented, task-oriented, inquisitive, with a do-it-right attitude
