Job Overview
The Bepko Internship Program at Indiana University is seeking a Part-Time Student Bepko Intern to join the Student Outreach team in UITS Digital Education Programs and Initiatives (DEPI). This internship provides hands-on experience in developing and implementing initiatives, events, and projects that raise awareness and adoption of technologies available to IU students. The intern will have the opportunity to explore innovative ways to engage with students and technology, such as using emerging technologies to inspire students and utilizing social media and videos to reach out to student populations. This internship is ideal for students interested in technology, student affairs, marketing, and event and project planning.
Compensation
Competitive compensation. Flexible work hours to accommodate class schedules.
Responsibilities
- Participate in student-focused events and activities to connect students with technology at IU.
- Brainstorm and collaborate with DEPI Student Outreach staff to develop student-focused initiatives and programs.
- Assist with planning and implementing events, both online and in-person.
- May perform additional duties and develop skills in areas such as video editing, graphic design, 3D printing, and VR.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.
- Experience with and passion for technology.
- Experience in project management and implementation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- General interest in information security and technology.
- Strong desire to take ideas from brainstorming to planning to implementation.
