Job Overview
Smith's Food and Drug is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join their team in Henderson, NV. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. You will support the day-to-day functions of the department operations and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Join our team and help us deliver excellent customer service.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $122k - $140k per year
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil codes.
- Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated.
- Consult with patients regarding medications and possible side effects.
- Complete all repair, labor and documentation tasks in a timely fashion.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and identify any unsafe conditions.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Board of Pharmacy license
- Continuing Education (CE) requirements must be ongoing
- Must be able to meet the minimum physical demands of the position
- Knowledge of basic math
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
- Three years of retail pharmacy experience desired
- Second language proficiency desired
