Job Overview
Our learning center in Little Neck is seeking a part-time after school teaching assistant who is energetic, responsible, and loves working with kids.
Compensation
- Pay: From $20 an hour
- Job Type: Part-time, Contract, Internship
- Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of After School Tutors and Teaching Assistants may include, but are not limited to:
- Working with children between the ages of 5 to 13
- Assisting with ELA and/or Reading & Writing using our learning materials
- Checking students' school homework
- No lesson planning required
Requirements
- High School Diploma required, some college or relevant degree preferred
- Experience working with children, preferably in an afterschool environment
- This position runs from September 2022 to June 2023
- Ability to assist with ELA/Math homework from K to 8th grade
- Should bring energy to the classroom and be very personable
- Fluent in Mandarin and Korean is a plus
