Job Overview
Seltzer Film & Video, LLC is an independent documentary producer based in Annapolis seeking a video production intern. The intern will work part-time for two or three days a week, assisting with Premiere Editing for independent PBS documentaries. This unpaid position has the potential to turn into a paid position for the right candidate. The intern will primarily work remotely but will need to be in the office in Annapolis for a few hours each week. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning about independent filmmaking and owning a small business.
Compensation
This is an unpaid position but can turn into a paid position for the right candidate. The intern may also have the opportunity to assist on videos for our clients.
Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for:
- Premiere Editing, including organizing footage, stringing out footage, and assisting the Director with film storyline
- Creating social media posts about the films
- Assisting on location shoots for documentaries and corporate video clients
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- Experience with Adobe Premiere
- Basic knowledge of Adobe products
- Comfort with communicating via virtual meetings
- Social media savvy
