Job Overview

Santander Bank N.A. is seeking Technology Interns for Summer 2024. This internship provides an opportunity to gain insight into the technology business of a large Banking institution. Interns will develop an understanding of technology operations and have the chance to explore Consumer and Business Banking technology, including banking functionality, vendors, and compliance requirements. Building relationships within IT and Business is an important aspect of this internship, promoting personal growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Business Analysts in documenting current business procedures and processes.
  • Contribute to the creation of documentation for technical systems, processes, business rules, and data.
  • Research new technologies and components.
  • Ensure application information is accurate and up to date.
  • Create PowerPoints related to our business case.
  • Participate in special projects related to strategic initiatives within the bank.
  • Attend monthly Vendor Management meetings and complete SLA reporting.
  • Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate program at a University or College.
  • Preferred majors include Information Systems, MIS, Engineering, Math, Business, or related fields.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2024 - May 2025.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytics and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Available for the entire internship program.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude and readiness to work.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
