Job Overview

  • Medline Industries, Inc. is seeking a Formulation Development Intern to work directly with full-time formulations scientists in managing multiple projects associated with new product development.
  • This internship offers real-world, hands-on experience where you can make a true impact.
  • Interns take ownership of their projects and get a feel for day-to-day work in their respective roles.
  • The summer program runs for ten weeks from early June through mid-August.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation is provided for this internship opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with full-time formulations scientists to manage multiple projects associated with new product development.
  • Contribute to the formulation of product development projects as assigned by management.
  • Execute laboratory experiments to identify key design aspects of formulation projects.
  • Generate and scale-up formula prototypes.

Requirements

  • Junior standing with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Preferred majors: Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or Biochemistry.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work well with others.
  • Motivated self-starter.
  • Experience with chemistry and/or formulations process development and formula prototyping is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office skills are beneficial but not required.
  • Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.
