Job Overview
Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC is seeking a Senior Associate for their Audit department. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join a Top 100 Firm recognized by Inside Public Accounting and named as a Top Place to Work.

Responsibilities
- Accurately and skillfully performing audit engagements
- Managing multiple client engagements
- Ensuring completion of all engagements within established time frame and budget
- Managing teams of two to five employees
- Communicating financial information to clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with coworkers and clients
- Traveling to client sites as required
- Developing presentation skills necessary for audit meetings
- Supporting and accepting change within the department
- Participating in practice/location activities to help grow the firm
- Mentoring and providing feedback to interns and staff
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Positive attitude and professionalism
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple audit client engagements
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Marketing and promoting firm services
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting
- Public accounting experience
- Understanding of GAAS and GAAP
