Job Overview

• Apply accounting principles in working with specialized accounting records and reports.
• Assist in the maintenance and accuracy of a general ledger and in preparing financial reports.

Compensation

• Salary range: $48k - $82k per year

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Develop and maintain system of internal controls to assure integrity of financial information.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations and prepare reports and financial statements for management use.
• Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value, and location of property.
• Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Reconcile accounts, review reconciliations, and ensure that all outstanding items are properly cleared; prepare journal entries and other adjustments to correct errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors
• Work Experience: Two years relevant experience
• Approximate starting salary: $48,500 - $52,500
• Physical Demands: Air-conditioned office environment with minimal physical effort required.
