Job Overview

Verizon is one of the world's leading providers of technology and communications services. As a Cloud Solutions intern, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects in areas such as 5G Technology, AR/VR and Computer Vision, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Computing, Network Features, Data Engineering, Source Control, and Network Architecture. This is a hybrid internship that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $22 and $30 per hour, depending on your role and class year.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects related to 5G Technology, AR/VR and Computer Vision, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Computing, Network Features, Data Engineering, Source Control, and Network Architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and network with employees across the globe.
• Take part in a 1-week internship from June 3, 224 to August 9, 224.
• Follow a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
• Travel and work in an assigned Verizon office if required.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a major in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Good academic standing with a completion date between December 224 and June 226.
• Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding (e.g., Python, Java).
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
