Job Overview
Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. is offering an exciting Event Planning Internship for college students. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and insight into the financial services industry. You will work alongside industry professionals to coordinate various corporate events, both in person and virtually. This internship may require occasional travel to events.
Compensation
- $16-18 per hour
Responsibilities
As the Event Planning Intern, you will:
- Help plan the Summer Party for Cambridge home office staff
- Coordinate company lunches and assist with regional events
- Handle logistics and event day details for virtual webinars
- Create Cvent registration sites for upcoming events
- Research ideas for giveaways and innovative concepts for company events
- Contribute to the planning aspects of our annual national conference
- Provide positive customer service through email and phone inquiries
- Collaborate with team members, present ideas at meetings, and interact with leadership
- May be required to travel to events during the internship
Requirements
Students studying event planning, event management, hospitality management, communications, marketing, business administration, public relations, or a similar major will likely be the most successful in this role.
