As a Piping/Plumbing Engineer I in our Tampa office, you will play a key role in empowering clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions and create a better, greener future.

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Perform load calculations, determine system sizing and layouts, calculate equipment sizes, select equipment, complete field surveys, and review equipment shop drawings.
Collaborate with experienced engineers and mentor designers.
Take on a greater role in leading piping/plumbing project teams, writing specifications, participating in project meetings, and supporting construction-phase work.

Requirements

BSME/BSAE from an ABET accredited school.
Minimum GPA of 2.5.
Non-academic internship.
Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred.
EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) a plus.
Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred.
Strong spoken and written communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
