Job Overview
Applied Materials is the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world. As a Finance MBA Intern, you will join our team in summer 2024. Your role will involve focusing on projects that drive executive decision-making around key business issues. You will support the finance organization by providing financial modeling, analysis, planning, and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the group and be a part of a company that values its people and fosters a Culture of Inclusion.
Compensation
- $30 - $35 per hour
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on factors such as location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Focus on one or more projects to drive executive decision-making
- Provide financial modeling, ROI analysis, scenario planning, and portfolio prioritization
- Support finance planning, analysis, reporting, and other finance initiatives
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the group
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an MBA program
- Good academic standing with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and in teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication ability
