Job Overview

We are seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst Intern to optimize processes for CHS's SAP Agriculture Contract Management (ACM) solution. This role will focus on contract management, execution, and settlement. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies. You will work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and take responsibility for Contract Management, Logistics Planning & Execution, Application, Settlement, Transportation Management, and Transactional Reporting related aspects of the ACM solution.
• Gain a deep understanding of business strategy and user needs, document business processes, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specifications for resolving issues, new enhancements, and new applications.
• Support the requirement gathering process for a large-scale SAP ACM implementation project.
• Support the ACM team in enhancing the efficiency of current IT/business processes through automation.
• Work closely with business users to simplify and improve contract management, execution, and settlement in commodity supply chain processes and procedures.
• Formulate and configure applications to meet business requirements and execute solutions that help achieve strategic objectives.
• Gather and document business requirements for resolving issues, enhancements, and projects.
• Test and track business requirements through implementation.
• Provide day-to-day support of IT processes and applications through the analysis and correction of incidents logged by business users.
• Perform other work as assigned.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or similar STEM degree program.
• Additional qualifications in Agricultural Economics & Business or Food Processing are preferred.
• Experience with SAP ACM (S/4 1809 FPS02 or higher).
• Strong analytical skills and desire to learn.
• Project management experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and Project.
• Experience with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management tools.
• Knowledge of Agriculture Business and Industry.
• Information Technology Business Analyst experience through internships or industry experience, including the development and management of functional/technical specifications and test plans.
• Excellent documentation experience using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or similar tools.
• Ability to identify system issues and drive the resolution forward.
• Experience with SAP processes implementing and/or supporting the ACM module in ECC and/or S/4.
