2024 Summer Intern- Marine/Waterfront Engineering

Job Location

RI - North Kingstown, RI - Providence

Job Overview

You will sit in either our Providence, RI or North Kingstown, RI office and will work in a hybrid office/remote/field model.


  • Starting hourly range: $18-$25 per hour
  • Rate determined based on completed years of education


  • Assisting with a variety of projects:
    • Port, pier, dock, and industrial waterfront facility infrastructure improvements
    • Seawalls, revetments, and shoreline restoration
    • Bulkheads, inspections, and geotechnical investigations
    • Retaining walls, fendering systems, and pile-supported structures
    • Boat ramps and other geo-structural projects


  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of completed coursework
  • Intellectual curiosity, a desire to solve engineering problems, flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness
  • Experience using design software is helpful
