Job Overview
- Seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for our Transportation Development and Traffic Engineering groups in Tampa, FL
- Assist with Transportation Development and Traffic Engineering projects
- Provide key support for project planning efforts
Compensation

Responsibilities
- Work with associates in Tampa, FL on various Transportation Development and Traffic Engineering projects
- Assist with widening, new location, intersection, interchange, and tolling projects
- Conduct crash analyses, traffic volume forecasts, and traffic operations analyses
- Support tasks related to project planning efforts
- Collaborate with different teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a strong work ethic aligning with the company's mission and core values
Requirements
- Current student studying Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work independently with general supervision and within a collaborative team environment
- Strong work ethic aligning with the company's mission and core values
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework in Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, and/or Traffic Engineering
- Experience with traffic analysis tools (HCS, Synchro, and Sidra) and traffic simulation modeling (TransModeler and VISSIM)
- Previous internship experience
- Exposure to ArcGIS
