Job Overview

CoStar Group is offering a Photography Fall Internship. As a global real estate information company, CoStar delivers real-time, verified real estate data and media to help clients make smart decisions. In this internship, you will use your photography expertise to create high-quality, creative photos of schools and parks in your assigned city. You will have the opportunity to capture the essence of various locations and combine them with CoStar Group's original content. This internship gives you the chance to explore your city and tell its story through visual storytelling.

Compensation

This is a part-time position with an hourly rate of $25.00. Bonus incentives are available for overachieving photographers, and mileage reimbursement is provided. This is a temporary position expected to end on or around December 1, 2023.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality photographs of schools and parks to visually showcase the location.
  • Utilize your photography expertise to determine the best time, location, and approach for capturing assignments.
  • Edit all photographs in a timely manner to ensure completed projects.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with the community when asked about your assignment.
  • Coordinate with the management team to efficiently complete assignments and maximize productivity.
  • Deliver completed assignments in a timely and organized manner.

Requirements

  • Must possess your own acceptable level of camera equipment, specifically a DSLR or mirrorless camera (no point and shoot cameras or iPhones).
  • Able to shoot in RAW format with a minimum of 20MP. JPGs should be of 300 dpi minimum with a 3:2 aspect ratio.
  • Must have a computer, editing software, and high-speed internet capable of editing and uploading images.
  • Demonstrable moderate experience with photography and media editing.
  • Full understanding of camera settings and access to Photoshop or Lightroom.
  • Full access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license in applicable cities.
  • High school diploma coupled with photography knowledge.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
